Alastair is the senior Partner and he draws experience from a wide ranging career in railway operations management and Government over the past 40 years.

Alastair recognises the importance of continuity in the industry and the need to spread best practise and inspire the managers of the future. Accordingly he is also is an experienced, qualified industry Trainer. He previously held for several years the position of Lead Tutor with the Institution of Railway Operators, heading up the IRO's Safety Management team taking students through the Diploma and Degree level Safety Law & Management (SLM) and the Emergency Planning & Major Mishap (EPMMI) modules. With the IRO he also devised and delivered courses in Train Planning and Customer Service. 

Alastair brings an innotative and cutting edge approach to compiling strategic events that support today's rail industry's managers.
